(Karate Do - Way of the Empty Hand.)

"Dreams and aspirations are nothing more than TV programs in your head, unless your chin is high, your eyes are focused, your shoes are tied, and your feet are moving."

Today's fast-paced environment, and the unprecedented personal freedom we enjoy, sometimes combine to overwhelm us.  We may feel adrift, and we forget that ultimately we control our lives.  As Graham Nash wrote:

You who are on the road
Must have a code that you can live by
And so become yourself
Because the past is just a good-bye

KARATE attempts to instill in its practitioners a fresh sense of morality and self-respect, along with physical development and mental well-being. Some people, searching for a sense of self-fulfillment and self-respect anchored to a firm moral foundation, find their answer in the study of KARATE.

Look around you. We all know people who excel in scholastics or some other endeavor yet never achieve their potential. Why? The answer is often a lack of confidence and a lack of discipline.

Regardless of the age of the practitioner, the true spirit of KARATE enables one to develop respect for his fellow man, respect for oneself through physical and mental growth, and, most importantly, perfection of character. What good would it be to be able to punch and kick at the age of seventy and yet not really know ourselves?

Sustained by a sense of self-respect and inner peace, we strive for victory over our own weaknesses. To conquer fear and greed, to know true honor and the courage to refuse failure, to know the peace and serenity of KARATE ... This is Our Goal!  Are you ready to begin your journey of self-discovery?
